OUR STORY
Salon MACKK & Co was created with the unique vision and partnership of its four owners; Melinda, Andie, Karin, and Kristin.
Since May of 2009, Salon MACKK & Co continues to provide the ultimate salon experience for each guest. The cozy yet modern atmosphere delivers a relaxing and comfortable setting for all of your beauty needs. Salon MACKK & Co was honored to be voted “One of the Best of the Fox” for hair salon in 2010, for hair salon in 2012, and for hair salon and philanthropist in 2013 and 2014. In 2015 it was announced that Salon MACKK & Co is one of the Top 10 Surface Salons in the world!

EDUCATION
On-going education is extremely important to us at Salon MACKK & Co.
We are all trained on the Surface Haircutting System founded by world renowned stylist and creator of Surface Hair, Wayne Grund. Melinda Thomas is our in-salon educator and trains each new stylist how to use the cutting system. This system allows each client to feel comfort in knowing that they can achieve consistently great haircuts from any of our talented stylists. We attend multiple hair shows and classes throughout the year as well as classes that we host in the salon.
We are passionate about mastering new techniques and cutting-edge styles to keep our guests on-trend while still being able to recreate their look at home. We promise to educate our guests on how to achieve the “in-salon” look on their own using the techniques we show them and the products required to support their custom style.
GIVING BACK
When Melinda, Andie, Karin, and Kristin decided to start their own salon, one of the things they all agreed on was the importance of community engagement. They understood that community engagement would allow them to familiarize themselves with their community matters, create a positive impact and enrich the lives of all employees.
Salon MACKK & Co has participated in the Family Health Partnership Clinic’s Care 4 the Cure Breast Cancer Walk, the Memory Walk for Alzheimer’s, The Heart Walk for the American Heart Association, Angels for Anthony Walk for Anthony Mustari, and the St. Baldrick’s Foundation Shave-a-thon, and Children of Fallen Riders Motorcycle Rally. In an effort to raise money for some of these events, Salon MACKK & Co has hosted many cut-a-thons in which all the proceeds go towards the cause. They have also donated gift baskets for silent auctions for various events to show their support.
